Report of Selective Breeding of New Variety “Jiqao No.9” of Buckwheat

摘要:

荞麦新品种吉荞9号，是经系谱法选育而成。吉荞9号具有优质、高产、抗逆性强、适应性广等优点。3年区域试验结果比对照品种增产28.44%，2年生产试验结果比对照品种增产26.58%。该品种1995年通过吉林省品种审定委员会审定。

Abstract:

New variety Jiqao No. 9 of buckwheat was selectively breeded by pedigree method. It had many advantages, such as high quality, high yield and strong resistibility of adverse conditions and wide adaptability as well. Results of 3 years regional yield trial showed that its output went up by 28.44 percent, compared with the comparative variety of Baicheng Qiao. Results of 2 years productive trial showed that its output, went up 26.58 percent, compared with the comparative variety. It was examined and approved by The Jilin Provincial variety Examination and Approval committee in 1995.
