Abstract:In three kinds of soils, chemical fertilizers were applied to maize by three different ways. The results showed that the maize yield of the split-horizon fertilization was similar to that of the date-appling and the shallow-appling was inferior to that of the date-appling. The different ways of the fertilization affected the maize yield by changing the seed number per line and 100-seed weight of the maize. As for the comparison between the deep-appling and shallow-appling of the chemical fertilizers to maize, the deep-appling was more adequate to Calcic chernozems, the shallow-appling was better for Haplic phaiozem, and the two ways had no difference in affecting maize yield in Albic luvisols.
