Abstract:Soybean aphid (Aphis glycines Matsumura), a main insect pest, occured widespreadly in soybean in Jilin province, China. From 1987 to 1989 the synergetic Rogor was tested against soybean aphid. The results indicated that the mortality was above 95% using synergetic Rogor at 75-180g (ai)/ha. on soybean aphid 2 days after the application. The effects were equal to Rogor applied at 400-600g (ai)/ha. and better than Sumicidin (fenwalerate) treated with 60g (ai)/ha. The synergetic Rogor also had high biological effects on green peach aphid (Myzus persicae Sulzer), armyworm (Mythimna separata Walker) and twospotted spide mite (Tetranychus urticae Koch).
