Abstract:It is often in need of the determination of chlorophyll content in the field crops when their photosynthetic functions are researchaed. The comparison among 7 extraction methods of chlorophyll in corn, sorghum, wheat, rice, soybean and sunflower have been described in this article. The result shows that the direct sopping extraction method with mixing solution of alcohol and acetone (1 : 1 in volume) is most exact and simplest.
